Why the Human Singularity is Nearer
Global transparency offers an unspoken invitation for us all to forge a new paradigm of personal integrity. The Internet, our own collective mirror, stands as a challenge for us to face ourselves for the first time fully in all our humanness.

Zachary, a writer and interlocutor on our forum at Infinite Conversations, contacted Darrell after seeing one of YouTube videos. In this talk, they cover everything from the cultural and psychological significance of the film to the esoteric meaning of vibranium. This is their first talk—with more to come, we hope!

Saturn in Scorpio in the First House
We will build our grave here on earth. Is it grave? Our bodies reduced to the skeleton of gluttony and the like. Or a marker, we build with substance, where our former bondage and body lies? The villains, if you will, have their will, they were here b …

The Loneliest Road (Intensification)
A 20-minute “unguided meditation,” this audio journey combines music, conversational fragments, and field phenomena to produce a contemplative response to current events, specifically the United States presidential election of 2016. As an immersive mindscape, the sound collage invites you to engage the world as meditation, and meditation as art.
Gonjasufi’s “Vinaigrette” & The Dark Night of the Soul
I saw the freedom of the open streets in the early morning and the romance of the street lamps curled with the eerie silence of the city’s expanse. What you call “an isolated figure” makes a left turn into a horizon of pillowy clouds and endures some kind of ecstasy while being alone in a motel room. The film feels alive, present.
After Facebook
What comes after Facebook? How can we reimagine our social networks for a planetary digital democracy of the future?
Electricity
Every day, when I sit alone in my dark room. Staring at nothing except the brightness of the moon I imagine I can hold it and put it as a lamp in my room. I can do whatever I need to do, like reading ,writing and painting. (I don’t need such a few humiliated hours of electricity.)

The Ecstasy of a Book Club
“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” —JC There is the possibility of ecstasy in a book club—this I aver. It’s a religious thing—or should be—the intercourse among “people of the book” (or rather, “ …
Digital Mack is in the House
“As I looked at his work, I realized that the images seemed to be moving in front of my eyes. Or in my eyes, vibrating into my brain. (I was otherwise sober.) They also reminded me of the skateboard and graffiti art my brother, a tattoo artist in New York, has loved since our childhood. I stared at each piece—faces and eyeballs, subtle patterns—and felt an oscillating time dimension, layers of color and emotion.”
Integral and Me: A Brief (Partial, but True) History of My Years as a Meta-Revolutionary
On the one year anniversary of the Fourth International Integral Theory Conference, I reflect on what “integral” means to me now—and what I think lies beyond integral, meta and otherwise.

Inception
Metapsychosis means transmission between minds. It’s a journal of consciousness, culture, and planetary thought, curating essays, poetry, fiction, creative journalism, and experimental media. That’s the exoteric form. But the project is also a thought experiment, a spiritual inquiry, an invitation to explore a realm of possibilities latent within us. The question we’re playing with is: What if our minds are actually connected?
